Will picking to pass shoter asa team over ridfe my passing i set up for each player to do, i have picked all my players to pass short will picking for the whole team to pass shorter as well override this.

and make it abit shorter

Individual player instructions take precidence over team instructions afaik, so the instructions you give your short passing players should stay selected even if the team is set to direct/long passing.
