Magicz
I really want FM 12 but I'm unsure about steam. The last time I downloaded it was on my old computer and it slowed right down when I installed FM 09. My new laptop's system requirements are: Windows Vista AMD Sempron SI-42 2.10 GHZ Processor 1 GB of RAM and a 32 bit operating system Will that be able to cope with steam and FM 12??? Any help would be much appreciated
Kain
I'd highly recommend trying the demo. If the demo works, then I'd imagine the game will work fine. It'll be easier and more accurate than anything we can tell you. Last thing you'd want to do is buy the game on the strength of somebody saying it'll work if it doesn't. Magicz
I'm installing steam now, and I'm going to download the demo as soon as I can
Graham206
The official specs are the same as FM 11: OS: Windows XP/Vista/W7 Processor: XP : 1.4GHz or Faster, Vista/W7 : 2.0GHz or Faster Memory: XP : 512MB RAM, Vista/W7 : 1.0GB RAM Graphics: 128MB Supported Chipsets - Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra or greater; ATI Radeon 9800 or greater; Intel 82915G/82910GL or greater. Earlier cards may only display 2D Match Viewer Mode and are not supported DirectX®: Version 9.0c (included) Hard Drive: 2GB Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible 1 GB RAM is the absolute minimum for Vista: I hated Vista and got rid of it as soon as possible. If you've got on board graphics you might struggle. Steam shouldn't make much difference, it uses about the same resources as a single page on a browser, but if you're right on the edge it might be "the straw that breaks the camel's back". I'd agree with the last poster: try the demo and see if it works.
