Some Guy!
He has in fact, never even played before in fact. Signed him from Fiorentina and yet he is somehow cup tied for the league cup...
dafuge
Was he signed close to the day of the match, or has he been cup tied well in advance of it?
Some Guy!
Signed on the 19th of January, the game was the 28th. Actually, it might be that it was the second leg of the League Cup and he signed after the first... I didn't know there was such a rule, but that might it. He has to be available for the whole tie.

Although players being cup tied is a bit of a throwback, makes sense in this case though.
