Wakers Posted October 21, 2011 Share Posted October 21, 2011 I'm impressed with FM12 at the moment, my only bugbear that I have with the final version is the amount of long shots that both my players and opposition players seem to take from a ludicrous distance, I mean from close to the centre circle when they have other passes to make. I think this may just be a representation error on the part of the 3d display rather than a flaw with the match engine, but it sure is annoying to watch! dan99 Posted October 21, 2011 Share Posted October 21, 2011 The ME is the same as last years iirc. However to cut down on long shots, try setting every players "long shots" to rarely. THOG Posted October 21, 2011 Share Posted October 21, 2011 Are FM12 players more amenable to PPM suggestions? I never once convinced a player to unlearn "Shoots from Distance" in FM11. Other PPMs worked fine unless a player was pushing retirement, but "Shoots from Distance" (or as I like to call it, "Surrenders Possession") seemed to be more or less permanent.
