jcafcwbb
End of the season. I am trying to offer a contract to a player who has six weeks left in his contract. He is 29 so not longer protected but the only option is to offer the clubs a transfer fee. I thought you could offer a contract directly to players in their last six months or has that changed? For info: it is a League Two player.

As an English club you can still approach players playing in a foreign league six months before their contract expires but for players at other English clubs its been reduced to one month - So try again in a couple of game weeks.
