Some Guy!
So... Here's something I've wondered for a while. Is there any way to convince a player to play for one of their eligible countries over another. Being the Australian manager now I'm trying to get together the best squad of young aussies that I can, but 2 of the best young Australians were overlooked by the same man who led Australia to 109th in the World rankings and have since played for the England youth sides. Is there any way to convince them that their future lies with Australia, or are they doomed to never play international football (as I doubt that England would want their)? Also, why do I have no chance to have a private chat with them about this?
acidmonkey
unfortunatly i think the only thing you can do is call them up and hope they accept it.
JackJCFC
I've found that players usually give up hope of playing for their preferred country at the age of around 24/25 when they realise they will not get a call up.
