CazzaLTFC
Really considering getting a Mac! Just wondering if FM runs smoothly on it?
Traghettatore
Runs very well. But I cannot compare to PC as I never played it there...But I'm very confident with it
J.T
I love FM on my mac. Everything runs smoothly and you can load quite a few leagues! I also have never played on a PC so couldn't compare.
CazzaLTFC
Good good! What spec make did you plump for? Just the standard setup? The one I've been looking at seems to have a bit less than the PC I currently have, but the Mac has an Nvida graphics card opposed to my current integrated HD Graphics. Add to that the fact a Mac should be just all round quicker, will that result in a smoother FM?

J.T
TBH you can get better then that and will result in a smoother game experience however it depends on how much money you want to spend. The game is fine on those specs though.
CazzaLTFC
Awesome! The Mac's on the macstore website seem to list HD Graphics with a radeon/nvidia card as well. Just this mean you can choose which to use?
J.T
Not too sure mate. Perhaps the radeon graphics card is an update to the nvidia graphics card. Although I would ask around as i'm not sure about that.
Mojo_Pin
How much you want to spend on your Mac? What size and model are you looking at?
Meridius
For example I'm planning to buy Macbook Pro 13'3 i5 with Intel HD Graphics. Football Manager 2011 works well in 3D cameras with this graphic card? The other question, I have FM 2011 in box version, it will work on Leopard? Edit, one more question - can I simply copy FM graphics - kits, logos, skins from Windows to Leopard and everything will work fine?
Melroseby
The same FM graphics will work fine on a MAC, Ihave an iMAC and find the 3D cameras work fine as long as you turn off the crowds/outside stadium scenes.
Meridius
How many leagues can I run on this Macbook Pro hardware if I will play really long carrer? Intel Core i5 2,3 GHz 3MB L3 Cache 4GB DDR3 Intel HD 3000 Graphics There is a big difference between Leopard and Windows? I'm really interested how strong graphic card affects on Football Manager gameplay.
Ex-RoNiN
Works like a treat on my quad-core i7. No slowdown noted at all. The slowest part is for the DVD to start spinning
Meridius
The biggest problem is Intel HD 3000. 3D match engine will work on it?
elgreenio
wouldn't buy a Mac if your simple goal is to play FM on it, you can get a windows machine that will run the game a hell of a lot better for much cheaper. If there's other reasons you can justify getting a mac, then hop on board, you'll never look back
