scotty1974 Posted March 26, 2011 Share Posted March 26, 2011 I dont know if its a bug in Patch 11.3 but players are asking for unrealistic wages Heres a list off contracts asked for by young players at Man Utd --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Fabio 140,000 per week for 4 years 2. Macheda 120,000 per week for 5 years 3. Obertan 105,000 per week for 4 years 4 Cleverley 80,000 per week for 3 years Now what going on? Mojby Posted March 26, 2011 Share Posted March 26, 2011 Negotiate - you will find that they will accept considerably lower offers. When renewing contracts I start at £5k above their current salary and then move up slowly until you meet at a mutual agreed deal. Remember this is what the agent wants for his client but they will accept lower offers. What I have occasionally noticed is that if you raise the signing on fee or agent fee, then the salary sometimes can still remain low. It is all about negotiating.
