GarretJoseph Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 I recently downloaded 11.3 and when FM started up, it asked for my CC information and payment details. I quickly went straight into the game and figured they would ask for my already purchased confirmation number I got when I first downloaded FM11 through Steam on a Mac. No, they want a serial key. I don't have one. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know where I can get a serial key? I don't have a CD so I dunno why I would need one all of a sudden. I have the original e-mail from the Steam Store showing my confirmation number for purchase and the Steam website shows that I purchased the game Dec 29th, 2010. swisso Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 Then there lies the problem You've downloaded the wrong update, which has overwritten the program files. You need to uninstall and then re-install via Steam. Once re-installed, exit Steam and start it up again and it should find the 11.3 update and install.
