busngabb
I think it will change when he nears death. I had Bill Kenwright in love with the club but he's recently put it up for sale. Interestingly the first consortium linked with buying Everton wanted to sack me (After 4 consecutive league titles, 2 champions leagues, 3 consecutive FA Cups, 1 league cup, 3 Charity Shields, 2 Super Cups and 2 World Club Championship wins in 5 years) and replace me with Steve Bruce. Naturally I was rather relieved when the discussions didn't go too well.

tom_numbers
If you go into debt, a chairman who "loves the club" will be happy to accept offers. 2nd season with Middlesbrough, just secured promotion, £8m under, and a consortium announce they want to take over and bring in Dennis Wise. Thankfully, it fell through, and Steve Gibson is still there
