luffy
hey, im about to start a new game and its going to be a longterm game, taking up a team from BSS. I'm j/w will the teams for example in the premier league in 20 years time have a good enough squads? my last long term game, the teams were incredibly poor (first patch). pb1uk
Yea, i've found no problems with it long-term. What database setting do you have? I have England as my only on league country with BLue Square N/S and above on. I also use a large database but make custom and load all top players from continents. Read somewhere before that this ensures there are more decent players in later years of the game
Mike J
Human managers definitely have the advantage in long-term games. The AI squad building is pretty good but it doesn't take much effort to be way ahead of them once all the real players retire. If you've got a good batch og kids by 2016/17 or thereabouts you'll probably be winning most things without too many problems. The AI does seem to look for good prospects more than it used to but I still think the way it develops them is wrong.
bigdanio
Yes, I have had a few good games that run past 2030. You need to stay in touch with the newgen world though, otherwise the game can feel a bit distant if you only know the names of your own players.
