Huney Munster
If I loan a youngster out that will soon be classed as trained at club. Will it effect the time it tacks to become trained at club?
StevoRobbo
No it doesnt. Ignore that bit of 'advice' from the other thread. You could own a player and loan him out for three full years if you wanted to and he would still be trained at club and homegrown (as long as you have had him for 3 years before 21). If this is happening where a players loan spell is not counted as being trained/owned by your club, its a bug 100%. Ive never noticed anything wrong myself though. EDIT: A home grown player is defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Welsh Football Association for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21). That is the official rule. So basically as long as the player is on your 'books' you can loan them out, keep them, do whatever the hell you want with them. You are 100% correct sir. However, that rule is for "Trained in Nation", NOT "Trained at Club".
