Freeman21
Just curious, what do you train during the pre-season months ? Do you focus on lots off strength/aerobic training, pushing up the general workload and leaving skill training a bit behind ? Or you just stick to the usual skill training used also in the middle of the season ?
Reffi
I guess its best to focus on the physical aspects of training, but I keep my players in their usual schedule (I try to avoid tedious micro management), and my players are match fit when the season kicks off. I play a lot of friendlies though.
LAHoward
I do the same as Reffi. As soon as the seasons schedule is released I find when my 1st game is to be played and schedule friendlies 7 days apart from the 1st match(usually 6 friendlies) and line up is usually match fit by season start
underwater sunlight
usual training schedules and lots of friendlies. if any player needs to focus on one aspect then i use individual training focus
Dar2000
I do have a pre-season schedule based purely on physical training but tbh I think keep your normal training schedules and at least 6 friendlies and you will be in tip top shape
