Struggle with 4-4-2

My staff keep telling me that my team struggles against others that play 4-4-2. What's the best way to deal with this?

I think that even though you may struggle against teams that play 4-4-2, it's not for that reason. Most of the teams in your league probably play 4-4-2 and you maybe struggle against only a few of them.

Yeah this basically. I play in the BSS and all but one team plays 442 so I apparently always struggle and do well against 442 and all my opponents either struggle or do well against 442. well duh! To me, and this is something I bought up last year, these backroom advice things are a nightmare. Don't tell me we/they struggle/do well, show me the stats!! Show me their/our record vs 442 and all the other variants and let me decide what I struggle against.

This may sound stupid but when it suggests that we struggle I always play a controlled basic 4-4-2 back usually does the trick the rest of the tweeks are up to you.
