san_marino
I'm managing Lithuanian FBK Kaunas at the moment, it's the end of the season, and i found this fine youngster i want to sign. He's got expiring contract, but if i offer him a new one, i have to pay 50k compensation for the club. So i just decided to by him - offered 1k, the club agreed - all seems fine. But heres the problem - i can't offer him a contract now, due to board restrictions (contract lenght is set to none and i can't change it). (if just sign him for free(+50k compensation) everything goes fine with the conrtact) What kind of restriction that is, and how can i avoid it? cris182
i think you need to give him a squad status on the contract screen before you can offer him a wage an so on. hope this helps
san_marino
i'm sure it wasn't about squad status. Tried again just now, and everything works fine. how odd... I've never seen thing like that before. delete/close thread please
stevio11
I have had this with Liverpool, it's normally wages with me and I have lost out on a few players even thou i am not near my wage limit. When I try to drop thier wages, the deal stalls and I lose out on that player
