MF Release Clause

What is this exactly? Should I offer it to players I dont want to lose? I wasnt sure if this was the minimum fee a club must pay to sign the player away from me, or the minimum fee I must pay the player if I choose to release him?

It means if a club offers that amount or more then you cannot reject the bid, it is automatically accepted. Personally I never use it when offering contracts.

It's a fee you must accept if a team offers it for your player. If you don't want to lose him you'd be best off giving him a high clause.

I never use it outside of Spain, where it's mandatory.
