Patriarchal Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 Everyone knows that towards the end of a season the schedule gets congested as more fixtures are packed into the last few weeks, especially for clubs in contintental competitions. I'm prepared to rotate players at this stage to keep everyone in decent condition, but the fixtures of my latest season shocked me and I had to share it with everyone: I can't remember seeing anything like this before. Surely playing two days in a row is just ridiculous, not to mention 4 games in 6 days and a total of 11 games in April. Does it *ever* happen IRL? I'm assuming it's because of the unusual situation of playing in the Club World Cup at Christmas (which put me 2 or 3 league games behind) group stage of the CL and then finishing the season in the UEFA Cup. By April I had 6 games in hand over every other team in the Prem and, boy, did I pay for it. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

shocking Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 It does my nut in when occasionally fixtures are played that conflict with internationals (usually U23s) and most of my squad is away.
