Player X is having a hard time blending in...

I have gotten a message for this every game in the pregame. It has been in my assistant feed back in 09.

How do I get my team to start gelling? Oh, and does this even matter?

Some players may never gel. For example, if you brought a typically spanish or brazilian player to Bolton or Blackburn, I don't think they'd ever settle.

Pregame? You mean pre-season? It takes a few months for players to get to know each other's playing styles. Don't worry.

Generally young players this happens with. Already having an established player from that particular country the players from normally helps stop this.

In the assitant manager feedback, there is always a note before the game about how a number of players are not fitting. It says it generally. Then a line down it says specific players.

This is fm09.

All of my players are from england. (BSN) Most of the time it isn't young players who aren't blending.

And it started in preseason but around 2 and a half months into the season, before the game, I still see the same message.

Don't worry - as long as they're playing okay, just ignore it. It can take a season or more for some to blend/gel.

I've found the same problem in lower league teams. This is because you generally only have players on one-year contracts so at the end of the season you tend to get 5/6/7 or more players in, so the team never fully 'gels'. It doesn't really affect performance so you should be fine
