Goalkeepers!!

Any explanation for this......Braintree town in 1st game in blue square premier,my defence on half way line with attackers sitting quite deep in there own half,my corner gets cleared with a long ball and my keeper collects just outside the box and he runs and runs untill an attacker tackles him and scores into an empty net! why didnt the pillock just boot the ball back upfield of out of play for a throw!!!!

What are his tactical instructions like? For starters, you can try reducing his creative freedom and setting 'runs with ball' to rarely.

The 'keeper isn't a Mr. 'R.Higuita' by any chance?

Is he set as a sweeper keeper?

I set mine as this to see what happens and it was a simillar outcome. :o

He got changed straight back

ahhhhh very good point iv set him to no creative freedon and to rarely run with ball lets hope it works. cheers
