lawstraljan
Hey guys, Im in my 4-5th season, and have gotten York City to the Championship, and have got my finances up and running to a reasonable amount. In 2015 if im correct my stadium will be expanded to 15,000. What I would like to know if the stadium can ever be upgraded again? like maybe to 50,000 or something, once Im in the EPL and maybe oneday the holder of the UEFA Cup + very good finances? CMOZZA
It all depends on what the expansion capacity is in the games database. But if 15,000 is all you can have it expanded to then you'll have to wait for a new stadium I think
lawstraljan
So it is possible to get into a new stadium? coz im sure a team originally inthe blue square premier would never had have plans in moving to a new stadium
CMOZZA
It's possible providing you're filling your stadium week in week out and have healthy finances.
newts15
I worked Corby up from the Blue Square North to the Premiership. When in the Championship, I was told that I was being moved from a 3k ground to a 12k ground. After selling out week after week, I asked the board to upgrade and they saw no point in the expansion. Swindon69
I believe York are planning to move - on a side note at the end of my first season in the French National divison my board suddenly announced we're going to a new stadium, landing me with a bank loan of £4m, I had almost no cash by the way.
