Administrators Neil Brock Posted December 21, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 21, 2009 If you're running a Steam installed version of Football Manager it should patch automatically. You do not need to manually patch as it may screw up the game. You may have to reinstall the game, and as said, Steam should auto-patch the game up to the latest version. Let us know how you get on, thanks.
djwilko6
The first pic looks like you're trying to patch the game whilst you're running it.
Robbie S
Yeah, you cannot patch the game whilst it is running

StevoRobbo
maybe a stupid question. forgive me as ive never used steam but if steam updates itself, why is there a download for a steam version of the game? EDIT: sorry just me being thick. i take it its because if you have a steam version and then you are unable to access the internet, you can download the steam patch from somewhere else and patch your game?
