Please explain this??? Assistant lost the plot.

Trying a new tactic in holiday mode and set the tactics and squad to stay the same (Im managing Spurs)

I came off holiday to see how it was going and clicked on the Middlesborough game and was shocked to see the team that was played.

I checked for injuries and suspensions and only Bassong was banned so that explains his absense. But Smith,Blackwood,Mcbride,Mpoku,Taarabt,Parrett,Mason and Cox are all reserve players and i didnt even give squad numbers.

Then he even played Naughton a full back as a forward.

This is the squad i set to play while on holiday.

Is this a league cup match? He has probably decided to play some youngesters as many managers do in an early round, as a lot of your first team have fitness levels at the low end of 90%. The playing upfront of Kyle Naughton is very bizarre though. Do you have a save of this game from before the match? Cheers

Perhaps the assistant thought it best to rest players due to their condition, particularly if not an important game?

Although I have just realised this is in the second season so could infact be a league match.

And i only have a save of the game a few days before the start of the season as i was running it in holiday mode testing a tactic.

Also the reason most of the squad have levels at the low end of 90% is because that was just after a friendly game.
