TomC
Im selling out each year and have around 80M in the bank with Palermo. How much would it cost for the board to build a 50,000 seater stadium exactly?
reillyg
I would guess about £200 million, mabye a bit less. I'm facing a similar problem with Atalanta who have a little ground owned by the council so I cant expand it.
bucket
I think in my Chelsea save it cost around £259m-£279m!
Cadijk van Kaarhandel
I’m Aberdeen and am hoping for a move too. I’m selling out my 25k stadium each week, can’t expand any more cos I’ve used all the space around my ground. Hoping for a 30k new stadium but I’ve only got about £12m in the bank. Looks like I’ll need a good few years in the CL Groups. What would a 30k cost? About £120m or so?
fox78
can you ask for a new stadium to be built then?
Cadijk van Kaarhandel
can you ask for a new stadium to be built then? No, you can only ask to expand. However, if you’ve reached your “expansion limit” the board can decide to build a new stadium. Obviously you need enough cash. You know when you’ve reached your expansion limit when the board respond to your request with “we’ll never get planning permission”.
