I was just wandering what stats are the best to look for in a player under 18 so I can figure out if they are worth signing and if my crrent ones are worth tutoring.

All depends on the position of the player. Best place for advice is the Good Player and Team Guide area.

Edit: Determination, Workrate and the players personality i.e Professionalism are always key attributes.

Well, the same stats as you look for when you want to buy some other player only slightly lower

Ex: When i'm managing a big team, in a winger i look for 17 technique, dribbling and pace .. so for a player under 18 probably 12 or 13 each depending on his age.

On top of the position-specific attributes I like to see a good determination rating too.
