stokes_83
In real life do teams in Brazil have and spend big bucks? My game the teams down there are going nuts. Neymar was just bought by Cruzero for 23 million! Since when does anyone in Brazil have 23 million dollars?
kieronbrown73
Brazil is a very rich country, unfortuantly there is a massive divide between the wealthy and the poor.
Josero
surely there'll be others here who could answer more informatively, but I think you'll find the clubs in Brazil operate differently and would be difficult to model, so yeah Cruzeiro paying 23mill for a player would never happen even when they're OK financially. They look to make most of their money from selling their top young talents and funnel enough back into the team to sustain a decent team of professionals. The rest goes into the youth development, from which they hope to develop more talent to sell to European or Mexican clubs to bring in more money and so on. I don't think Brazilian clubs make that much from the competitions themselves. But there's no way the game can reflect those kinds of things particularly well over time. It's not realistic, but that's when you go "well it is just a game after all".
Ricardobs
In real life do teams in Brazil have and spend big bucks? No, they don't... but they also don't sell so many players for "big bucks" IRL. In FM you can easily sell your players for 5x their realistic value, it's very easy to make money...
