uusinjsh
This is the first time I see player sent-off for handball while attacking..! [surely too late and wrong player!?]
tottenhamfmo7
I don't get this. maybe the freekick was taken and then McDonald handballed it?
Rhinocerous
mcgeady looks to have taken the kick, it was headed away, but mcdonald deliberately handballed and was sent off. seems straightforward to me...
TheRiddler
To be honest I read that as McGeady played the ball forward from the first freekick, Sadler headed the ball to safety, and then McDonald handballed it. Without knowing teams and players it's hard to say, but that's my take on it.
uusinjsh
still, do you get a straight red card for handball..? even deliberate..? edit: note below pic is meant for game that took place in november
betterspud
Er... Surely that's just a list of all the things that happened within that minute? They don't necessarily all have to be linked together do they? Only the replay wioll give any indication what actually happened. Does seem a bit weird though, since it's all headed "McDonald Red Card"...
TheRiddler
Depends - if he deliberatley handled it to prevent a goalscoring opportunity (such as a striker was about to run onto the header) it could be a straight red.
