Saw a massive fall in my finances after sending my U18s to play some friendlies abroad and I'm pretty sure that was why. Or I missed some other major expenditure by me. slipknot67 Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 If you are a small club, as far as I know the most lucrative friendlies are played at home against teams with a higher reputation than yours as you should be able to get a sell out crowd and the ticket sales should boost your finances. I guess that at the level you're playing at that the travel costs etc involved with playing friendlies away hit your finances, although that is just speculation on my part as I never go the llm route on FM.
