OzeToon9
Just wondering does anyone know if the upcoming expansion of the A-League has been factored in? Or can we do this ourselves with the DB editor for the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons (Melbourne Heart & Sydney Rovers). Cheers.
sthptngomad76
I'm nearly certain that it doesn't because they don't have the licences for those teams.
OzeToon9
I'm nearly certain that it doesn't because they don't have the licences for those teams. Wouldn't the licence for the whole A-League cover this?
ChrisCryptic
The license only covers this current (09/10) season and as such not the new teams.
looknohands
No, going by past years with the MLS license. Even though we already know that 3 teams (and already know where they'll play/what they'll be named) will be added over the next two seasons, SI isn't able to add them into the league. I imagine it's the same deal for the A-League.
gmcker
You couldn't add them because you wouldn't know the format of the next few A-League seasons, so they can't be added faithfully eg number of rounds, size of the finals etc. Plus Lowry is already thinking about a later start for next season, for instance. They could only be added as fake teams for the purposes of signing players to represent real transfers, like the fake version of the Fury and Gold Coast in one of the FM09 patches.
