Vanilla - Gold Demo

I downloaded the vanilla demo, and started a game, now im downloading the gold version, will i be able to use my save from the vanilla? I know i can go from demo to real game when its out, just wondered if i can go from demo-demo

I should think so, in your documents, go to sports interactive and go to Football Manager 2010 Demo, and go to "Games".. there you should see all your saved games, choose which one, copy it and paste it in the same place once you have installed the gold version..

Yeah, not that it's that huge a deal, but it would have been nice if SI told you what was cut before downloading. On the site you're given the impression that leagues, languages and logos are all that was cut, but it's more than that.

Talking about it, what about pitch textures? No matter where I get to play, all I get is the same plain green pitch texture as opposed to what is seen in the match engine videos. Or FM09, for that matter.

It's stated in the download section that textures are cut out of vanilla, and much more.

ive got the gold downloaded now, but its not replaced all the club logos etc, do i need to do some thing in preferences for this? im re-installing it and that thought just came to me
