brayley Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 ive just installed football manager on a different computer, when i tried starting the game (after steam had updated) i got the message "cannot run game failed to set up graphics system". being the complete computer spaz i am, what does this mean and how can i fix it?!!! help!!! thanks in advance! jayahr Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 I had the same happen to me last week That computer did not have a 3d card, so I didn't come here assuming that the computer just isn't up to the specs. Guest PW Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 Try the below: ERROR: Cannot run game:Failed to set up graphics system Fix: Please download the following update from the Microsoft Direct X SDK: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en When downloading this file please use the Firefox browser as some people have encounter difficulties when using Internet Explorer You should also check that you are running the latest graphics driver, you can do this by visiting the computer manufacturer website, or by visiting the graphics card manufacturing website.
