Pay Off Debts

Recommended Posts

It wouldnt be at a mangers dicertion to do this anyway. If you had a loan of the magnitude of the likes of Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal etc, you would probably find that its fixed at a rate throughout the duration. If you were to pay it you would probably incur some hefty penalties from the bank.

The banks would fine people for payng back MORE money??? that makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes, thats why their are hefty penalties. Because the interest is charged over say 5,10,15 whatever years the bank make a profit out of it. If you pay this money back early, at say 3 years, the banks lose the profit they would make out of it in the long term. Thats why they put penalty charges in, known as early repayment charges.

It can happen in game, i just dont think it happens very often. My Solihull Moors side took 2 loans out to build a new ground, and, 6 or 7 years later, paid one of the loans off cos we had plenty of spare cash.

edit: dont think the manager should have anything to do with it though, its not his decision.
