Carleeto
I'm in January trying to sign a 31 year old Lassana Diarra on a pre-contract from Man City but it won't let me offer him a contract, even though theres only 6 months left. Anybody know what's up here?

golfpunk
If you are another club in England then you are unable to approach to sign another player in the English league. You will have to wait until June 1st to attempt to sign them.
JonnyW
I thought you could only approach them when there's 3 months left when it's clubs in England?

Carleeto
White Flag, you were a massive help, thanks for sharing lol. But seriously I never realised that was the rule, and yes I'm managing Ipswich in the prem so that makes sense as I also had to wait until June to sign a regen from Villa a few seasons back. Cheers lads.
