Santheman 1984
So I now the basic rules round the work-permits. But is there in England not a rule, if a player have a world-class talent, they can give a work-permit, even if a player don’t get work-permit bases on the general rules? Is this option available in Fm 08? I now players like Kalou, Vela (maybe) hade advantage with this rule Thanks Santheman Holland
cliff7197
Yes it is. It's based, I believe, on a player's perceived potential ability. Not their potential ability mind, which is a different thing.
postal postie
i think to a certain degree its also based on their potential. basically how good is the player, and have they got special talent which says they are going to be big in the future. if so then you could feasibly say that this player can offer something that another player can't. glamdring
There's obviously some randomish element and a case by case aspect to it in real life as well as FM otherwise there wouldn't be appeals, or at least not successful ones. I have no idea what algorithm is used in FM when a scout says a player is likely to be rejected first time, but is likely to get a work permit on appeal.
