kkas
I have one of my best players unhappy after I told him I would not let him move so he could help our club progress. We have since been promoted and I do not think he is much better than the standard of the league we are now in. Is there anything I can do to make him happy again as he is now refusing to sign a contract?
bardock
No if they want to move they want to move. You can try to hold on but at a risk. He might have a change of heart after being transfer listed for a while or end up leaving on a bosman.
Avelives
Happened to me with Goran Pandev he spent the whole of last season 'unhappy'... I didnt use him much and after a while the teams interested in him lost interest and with us at the top of the league he suddenly loved the club and wanted to stay, he now has me as favoured staff. Now im sure this doesnt always happen, I was really lucky and fully expected to have to sell him, but if hes really important to you id hang on to him for at least a season.
