trekman
Well yeah.I have some virus and i formatted my PC and the virus was still there. I had a simillar problem a few years ago and fixed it by doing the following. 1. Disconnect all external hard drives and cable modem from your pc. 2. Format your c drive 3. Before you install any of your software like FM Install a good firewall. I would recommend zone alarm as the one that comes with windows isn't really all that good imo. 4. Install a virus checker and run a scan. Doing a spyware scan might also be a good idea. 5. If everything is ok with the c drive plug in any external hard drives and run a scan on these. 6. Plug in your modem now. 7. Finally if everything is ok with the scans then you should be able to reinstall your other software and FM again. Doing the above fixed the problems I had with a virus that I couldn't get rid of so should help you.
