DPalmer5059
So I manage to get Marquinhos in the 2nd transfer window but the day after the windows closes his work permit doesnt get approved but I end up getting him. Now what do I have to wait or is there something I need to do to get him a WP. Never had this happen before. Thanks FM community.
slipknot67
If you are a British club and have an affiliate club from Belgium, you can send him there on loan to gain a wp. It does take 3 years though to get one that way. the only other option you have that I know of is to keep offering him renewed contracts in the hope that he might become eligible for a wp. Hollender
You have an affiliated club where you can, and should, send him for getting the EU citizenship. If you didn't have one you wouldn't get the player. After the WP was turned down you got a question of if you still would like to sign the player. I allways overlook this and just click yes and thereby ends up with a player I cannot use for at least 3 years.
phnompenhandy
Actually because he's from Latin America, at a Spanish affiliate he'd only need 2 years to get EU (Spanish) nationality. Hurry up though; you can only send him to an affiliate during the loan window.
