F94
Manager release clause - how exactly does this work in a players contact? Hands-on approach - How do I effect it?
F94
bump, sorry I just need answers as I am contemplating leaving my club and want to take certain players.
Living_Legend
This clause allows aging players to leave the club if they get offered a management position. It's not a way for you to raid the club's talent as you move on to better things.
F94
ah well, I guess i'll just have to hope they want to follow me at reasonable prices...
manutdman666
A little hint/cheat. Offer the players you want to take new contracts with a LOW minimum release clause. Then once at new club either wait 6 months or unsettle them and you can get them for miniscule amounts.
phnompenhandy
Manager-release is a way to tempt older players to join you on the promise that you'll let them go if they get a manager or coach offer. It won't help your cause unless you offer them player/manager roles and then only if they are eligible for coaching. Hands -on means you control all the tactics, contracts, training etc. and don't leave them to the assman or holiday. Again, nothing to do with your aim. MUM666 gave one tip - the other is to cheat using the FMM editor to make all the players you want love you Mourinho-style, hate their current club and be at the end of their contracts.
