Editor???

Recommended Posts

Hi there i have a problem!

hope someone out there can point me in the right direction. . ..

Basically on all the old fm's like 06, 07 and so on, i used the editor to say give lower league teams a little bit more money say start with a million and see where i could get them to. . .

anyway on the new fm 09, when i edit the database and save and exit, it will register and save the database. but when i start a new game and you can pick from say, 'default' or 'patch 9.2' database theres no option to open my own edited one which has been saved as james.

So i thought maybe it hadnt saved correctly or had overwritten the old database like the old fm games, but when i went back into the editor it was still there under the name james!!!! :s

well confused. . . anyone who knows how i can use my own database or any help is appreciated!!!

cheers jmes

If using Vista then the database should be under C drive, Users, xxx (your computer name), Documents, Sports Interactive, football manager 2009, db.

If it is not here then you need to find it and move it here.

I have edited my own database and it is saved here and works fine.

Hope this helps

Where is the database editor?

If you installed or authenticated your game through Steam, you will find the editor at:

C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Football Manager 2009\Tools\

if you didn't use Steam at all it will be at:

C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\Tools\
