Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 I've not been any good at either of the last two iterations of Football Manager, and I have tried to master tactics with minimal effect. I've read the guides in the T&T Forum and although I feel like I know more about the game and the sliders and everything, I can't actually apply that and my results haven't improved. Is it possible that being able to play Football Manager well, and win with a poor team through clever tactics and transfers, is a natural talent rather than a learnable skill? Its possible to learn how to master it - for some it takes years, and for others hours, depending on how good you are at understanding what happens in ME and translate it into the sliders.
