Italian eligibility rules

I recently took over at Bologna, and 8-9 players are listed as 'ineligble' but no reason is given except 'player cannot eb registered for next match'.

I expected this to be soretd in January when the registration window opened, but nothing has changed, and there is no way of getting these first team players into the squad.

Anybody know which rules I'm not complying with? It's not the U21/HG rule, I'm well under that, and some of the ineligible players are home grown.

They aren't Foreign btw.

If you are playing in a division below Serie A you have to register a squad in september and february like in Champions League. When I played i Serie C1 I sometimes hit a bug were no register button would appear. Saving the game and opening it again solved this problem for me

Ah, so at the end of the January window I will get another chance to register players? Cool. Think it's a bit of a stupid bug that the AI manger prior to me left out the 8 best players in the squad from the Serie B eligibility list.

its probably the reason why you're now employed there instead of him

I know, and I found that stupid to start with. If I hadn't have been bored and unemployed, I'd have not bothered accepting. Just doing an end of season job and then resigning.

Do you have to wait until the end of January? If you pick them for a match, during the transfer window, it should let you register them before the match starts.

You should be able to register them during January, if there is a little arrow underneath your final striker on the list, it will allow you to assign them a squad number.
