The key is the light workload. If you're limited to the number of coaches you can have, get one of them (eg assman) to oversee all the schedules, even if he's useless - imagine him putting out the cones; that way they'll all stay light.

If I'm at a big club with limitless budget I'll hire 2 per position - one 7* high rep guy, and a young underling (ex-player) who might take over when his CA is higher after the older guy retires.

Yeah all you need is a light workload and the quality of the coach doesn't matter. You could just hire a bum from the street and pay him five quid a week, but as long as he had a light workload then he'll be just as good as the world class 60 year old with 45 years experience in the game. Really sensible isn't it.
