outlander
I've started a game on 9.1 and played a few seasons. Then I deleted the game folder but kep the folder in my documents. Now I re-installed the game but I get this error. It also says that the game will use the default database but nothing happens, it just gets stuck. May be I created the game with a database with a tweak or two not even related to a team I play with. Is there any way for me to continue my game? Is there any tool that can tell me what folder was my db in? I'm pretty sure that if I put 9.1 database there it should work.
Nomis07
When you say tweaks, do you mean you edited the database? If so, you'll need to rememebr all the things you changed and redo it. Uninstalling will have deleted the old databases, unless you kept a copy.

But anyway aren't the changed are saved in save game file? Also I have a folder with some edited database. The problem is that I re-installed windows and now I have different profile. Can the change in a path to my documents folder affect it?
Nomis07
Right click on the shortcut, select "find target" and move all your edited databases into the database folder. It's a long shot, but it might work.
outlander
Tried it now and tried changing default database with my edited one, still the same mistake. The main problem I think are not the changes but that the game can't find the needed folder at all. So I wonder if there is any way to learn what path of the database folde rwas the save created with?
Nomis07
Well i'm stumped, I thought it would automatically lift the DB from the DB folder  Try asking here, the editors forum is bound to have someone who made the same mistake and hopefully they will have some answers
