He is a quality player, he was making noises about leaving, he is not the only player as quite a few want Champions League football, I managed to get them back on side, for now anyway, if we don't have a great season I will struggle to keep some of the others at the end, anyway I noticed Visser switch off quite often when Gary Neville was doing team talks (insert joke here), so I decided to take the offer as we have a lot of competition in midfield and some players coming in. As well as Visser leaving, Torres joined RBL in a deal that could rise to £38m. Altmeppen was unhappy so we accepted offer from Barcelona, Burnett spent last season on loan at Southampton, this season he goes to Schalke in Germany. Players In (7 players join) £326m spent. Really happy with my signings, the first three were arranged a while before the season ended, the deal to sign Tottenham captain Gonzalez is one of the reasons I was not too bothered about losing Visser. I was expecting Werner to leave when the chance to sign Lautaro Martinez came up, nobody came in for Werner though so we have them both, oh well hardly a bad thing, Storti, Gonzalez & L.Martinez will be regular starters, Krol & C.Martinez will be fighting to get on bench and a starting place. I took a look at the transfer list to see what decent home grown players were available. Their clubs were willing to accept deals well below the values so that made the signings very appealing, they will improve our squad options, I have been registering under 21's to make up our quota of home grown players in our 25 man squad, these two will take HG slots and give us better options. Pre-Season Results _____________________________________________________________________________________ AUGUST 2026 v's Man City, Chelsea, Reading & West Ham A tough start to the season as we kicked off against the champions.Harsh scoreline against Chelsea as they were clinical and we missed a penalty. I didn't rotate against Reading as I was really keen to get a win, an early exit would have made it a terrible start to the campaign. A solid display against West Ham as Lautaro Martinez scored his firstof hopefully many goals in the Premier League. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Big Blow, Batarás Sold! No no no! I really didn't want to lose this player but they met his release clause, so off he goes, we signed him for £12m so it is a good profit, still that istoo cheap, gonna have to keep a better eye on this clauses but at the time I was just desperate for him to sign and stay with us, also he has been looking to move rather more than I am happy with, so I knew it would happen. So with Batarás gone that now gives a big chance to a fellow Argentinian Caballero. SEPTEMBER 2026 v's Liverpool, Everton, Swansea & Tottenham. We managed a good but narrow win over Liverpool, after that win though we struggled. We should have beaten Everton but conceded very late, I then rotated the side for our cup game, the players given a chance to impress but they didn't, they let us down. Then in the final game of the month we squandered a 2-0 lead against Spurs and could only share the points after Timmy Abraham scored a brace. _____________________________________________________________________________________ We are currently 13th.... OCTOBER 2026 v's Brighton, Huddersfield & Bournemouth. We had a shocking second half against Brighton, we were in total control but only 1-0 up at half-time, they only managed one shot in the first half, they were a different animal after the break, well either they were better or we were just worse. We bounced back with a hard thought win at home against Huddersfield, we then rounded the month off with a solid display away to Bournemouth and a fine 3-0 win. _____________________________________________________________________________________ We are currently 11th.... NOVEMBER 2026 v's Watford, Middlesbrough, Wolves & Swansea. The month started well with a good home win against Watford, we should have beat Middlesbrough but conceded another late goal. Things turned bad, we were hammered at home by Wolves, a pathetic display, fuming about that disgrace, just don't know what the hell that was. DECEMBER 2026 v's Arsenal, Stoke City, Burnley & Bristol City. v's Man City, Man Utd & Leicester City. The month started really well with wins over Arsenal & Stoke City, heldto a 0-0 draw at home by Burnley wasn't good though but worse followed. **** poor against Bristol City with former player Dolberg netting a brace. A narrow defeat at home to Man City, the defending champions complete the double over us as we fail to cancel out Moise Kean's early strike. A great victory in our next game as we win 3-2 against Man Utd thanks to a very late penalty as Jordi Molas puts away the spot kick in injury time. Overall it was a good month, a couple of defeats to Chelsea & Tottenham. Some good wins over West Ham & Everton and also progress in the FA Cup with wins over Watford & Sheffield Wednesday, I made a mistake for the game against Liverpool, I rotated the squad for game against Watford and I then progressed to the game with Liverpool without changing the line up. _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ Our players out on loan...... _____________________________________________________________________________________ New signings........ I have let some good players go but I want to make the squad more English/British, so I decided to sell players that made noises about leaving. Sancho has also been one of those players but as my aim mentioned above I want to keep him, with Pulisic & Richarlison leaving he will get much more game time this season George Nixon, £160m? £240m for 2 English players, I think Bryn Ward is about right anyway but £160m for Nixon is way above what I should have paid, English players just cost more. Our record £160m signing. Yes we overpaid but sometimes you have to if you really want a player, especially English. He is 23 so long term the deal can prove to be money well spent if he has a good long career at the club. One club in England and the other in Scotland. STOPSLEY UTDThis club will have the same set-up, will be starting in Sky Bet League One replacing MK Dons. We will be based at Stadium MK, Milton Keynes, England. We have a starting squad of 30 players, all aged 30 and above, the club will be rich based on success we have had in previous manager games through the years, transfer policy will probably changed later in save. To start with and for the foreseeable future we will only be signing players 30 and above. MAWBOROUGHThis club will be starting in Ladbrokes League Two, they will replace Clyde, unlike MK Dons, Clyde remain in the game database they have just dropped out of the league, this club will be a youth only club. The only twist on that is that I will be using youth intakes from both Stopsley Utd & Mawborough. I have set things up with Stopsley Utd being senior affiliate to Mawborough, Mawborough will recieve £500k per season. Mawborough will be based in Old Shielfield Park, Berwick-upon-Tweed, England. IN-GAME EDITORThis will be in use, will be using this to move players from Stopsley Utd to Mawborough. I will also use it to change kits for teams at certain times over the years of the save. MILTON KEYNES CITYI have set this club back-up in the game, thought I would be nice and give a little back to MK.
