Sujoba Posted May 8, 2019 Share Posted May 8, 2019 I became manager of Spain in season 2022/23. 2 players - Cesar Azpilicueta and Jordi Alba - were both in my 23 man squad when I took over. Both of them are retiring at the end of their contracts and there is no button allowing me to remove them from the squad. Likewise, there is another player who I would like to add to the squad but, as he is also retiring at the end of his contract, I cannot add him. Jordi Alba's contract runs until 2026 so I could have 3 years of having him in the squad without being able to remove him. Any ideas why this is the case?
