This sounds as though you might have put the players attributes too high? One of the screens when you do this, it tells you actual CA based on the attributes you've entered. Max CA is 200. But if for example you've put 20 for each attribute, that would be way above the maximum CA, hence you'll see attributes fall to a level where CA = 200. That's my best guess anyway. "Recommended Current Ability" should be the same as "Current Ability" or stats will be corrected (minor corrections may happen even if CA and RCA are equal).
