But I wonder if some or all matchplans change the mentality that your team uses to start the match. I want to know if it's useful that I think about what mentality I set in the tactic screen before the match starts, or if it has no use, if a matchplan already includes a default start mentality. DavyDepuydt1 Posted May 9, 2018 Author Share Posted May 9, 2018 I've did a few tests myself, selected "play for the draw" and gave my team "Overload" mentality & "Very fluid" team shape, and after the game was simulated I watched the 2D, and it looks like the team did not start in overload mode, so that would mean selecting a match plan overrides the mentality from the start of the game.
