Its a strange promotion system in Spanish Second Division , there are 4 groups of 20 teams and even if you win the group you enter the play -offs. The first 4 teams of each group enter the play-offs. The winner of each group play with the winner of other group (2 pairs and the winners get promotion) p.e i won the group 4 and faced the winner of group 1 , i won i got promotion (as Hercules) The 2nd,3rd,4th of each group (12 teams = 6 pairs ,the winners go the the next round of play offs ) +2 (the losers from the list play off) = 8 teams ,knock out till 2 .So 4 teams win promotion My squad end of the season i need to reshape my team because almost all their contracts expire next year and without founds i'll search for free players My best player ( i don't think i ll renew his contract ) and this is the only '' approached to sign'' youth from my academies and thats strange because i don't even have a HoYD. roggiotis Posted May 29, 2016 Author Share Posted May 29, 2016 Season 2017-18 The first season in La Liga was the hardest season in all my FM16 saves in summer i had changed all my roster with slightly better players and these are their stats end of the season my best player and my best goalscorer ( very difficult to keep him ) Very important the fact that the board decided to improve the facilities (which is the way i play the game) Right now these are the facilities From the regens of 2017 and 2018 i selected no one "approached to sign". (but so close to 10th if we do 1-2 bad results) My squad stats so far the best player is and the leading goalscorer is who is a big surprise (11 goals in 10 league appearances) is in his 2nd season at the club ,seems he wants to prove something. Meanwhile with 8 games to go we are in Ch.League place , but also 2 defeats away from Europe. I can't play counter either ,every time i tried i discovered the beauty of counterattacking of other teams vs me Defensive is the only way. Flat 4 _fact Flat in the middle (in the paper) because changing the roles only flat it isn't. I would like 2 STs ,but Quintana (16y) despite the goals he scored ,is not ready yet ,also Gomez is not a striker. I have enouph MCs who can play AMC Curro played as an SS behind Gomez Gomez hit 4 times ,Bannan was the creator ,Cotan the stopper. In other words ,this is how i play something like Atletico , but the team has no identity yet ,i have to wait to become more stronger financially ,to get more quality players. As you see ,he plays a 4411 , with numbers 11,7 switching places continually This is n.11 (world class winger ) and this is n.7 Of course you know this guy A player who i think will shine in my save in the next year(s) is i couldn't stop him , he comes from the academies ,of course its impossible to buy this player. roggiotis Posted June 12, 2016 Author Share Posted June 12, 2016 Season 2021-22 A few more words about my tactics (following post no.19) I play a flat 4 (this is not negotiable) Roles= FB(A) or FB(S) , i prefer attacking full backs , and if i had the right player i would choose CWB(A) Flat 4 in the middle Roles = WM or W only , i don't use Wide Playmaker or def.winger I prefer WM just because you can use either to run wide or cut inside , and either to stay wider or sit narrower , but also a winger is a good option. In the middle right now the combination of CM(De)-RPM works good.Generally one creator one stopper.The creator not necessarily a playmaker role ( sometimes a MC(A) or MC(S) is ok) Up front the combination is a constant value. I would like 2 STs ,and if i play he will also on support.(CF-F9) I don't like the creator in the AMC position ,and even if i find the perfect enganche he will play in the MC position and i would retrain him in the new position. Why ? Because i like ._ Now , if you have a top team with good players you can choose whatever mentality you want and in >90% you will win. I will keep the defensive mentality but more aggressive this time ,and maybe i use and a counter -attacking one. If you ever see me on day play control-fluid (which i like )it means that my squad is very-very good. I will not analyse any more the games tactically because then all the mods will start to laugh I said all these because all my players in my team , all the players i scout ,and the way i train them must fit in the positions i prefer. So when you go to Europe you don't afraid anyone and you know that you ll be a touph opponent for all the teams ( like is happening in IRL with the Spanish teams ).
