mark wilson27 Posted July 4, 2017 Author Share Posted July 4, 2017 October 21st:Dag & Red (H) (15/46) A poor start saw us a goal down in the 12th minute as M.Richardson ran through the defence with ease and fired past Panpardus. Nine minutes later we went a further goal down with K.Brown heading in past after some dire defending. Not the start I wanted but on the 27th minute we pulled a goal back as Tenthreeleader jinked into the area and fired with pace past the keeper. Just before the break though Dag & Red came close to adding a further goal but Panpardus saved brilliantly to deny the striker. The second half was alittle better for us as we started to play a lot better and on the 57th minute Chesterfan came close after running onto a CFuller through-ball and fired just wide of the post. Ten minutes later we had another chance as Terk headed home from close range but the assistant referee rules it out for a foul. We were beginning to control the game and on the 84th minute we levelled the scores with Terk running through the defence and round the keeper to slot home into the empty net. On the stroke of full time we had our final chance as Tenthreeleader curled the ball towards goal but it didn't curl enough and clipped the upright and went out. Rochdale (A) (16/46) A terrible start saw is a goal down within 13 seconds after R.Gray ran onto a through-ball from kick off and fired past Panpardus. Soon after they had another chance as they broke through my defence with ease and fired under Panpardus but the upright saved our bacon. On the 33rd minute they had yet another chance with a great team move which made a mockery of the defence but Panpardus saved the day with a world class save. Eight minutes later Rochdale had another effort on target as they broke into the area unmarked but the effort was as poor as the defending and went well wide of the post. During the interval I went mad at you lot for what can only be described as a p*ss poor half. The rollicking seemed to work as seven minutes into the half we levelled as WLKRAS ran onto a Manxie_Ash through-ball and fired under the keeper. On the 59th minute we took the lead as Gavrenwick curled in a free-kick from 25 yards after Neilhoskins was brought down. Five minutes later it was three one as a Manxie_Ash corner was headed in by Terk after his initial effort was tipped round the post. We were in complete control and with seven minutes remaining in the game we added goal number four as Copperhorse tried his luck from 30 yards and the ball flew straight into the top corner. mark wilson27 Posted July 11, 2017 Author Share Posted July 11, 2017 October 29th: Forest Green (A) (17/46) The first half in truth was a real non event with neither my side or the Forest Green side coming close to the goal. The second though was a different matter as within a minute Forest Green had taken the lead as L.Joyce ran through my defence with ease and fired under Kernunos. However the lead didn't last long as on the 52nd minute Chesterfan beat the offside trap to slot home past the keeper. Six minutes later Forest Green had another chance to score with a rasping effort from outside the area which had Kernunos at full stretch to save. On the 69th minute we took the lead as WLKRAS threaded the ball to the feet of Chesterfan who rounded the keeper and fired into the empty net. Two minutes after the goal I was forced into a change as Tenthreeleader came on for the injured Manxie_Ash.
