Mons
The file is available from the cut-out faces megapack download section on sortitoutsi Preview of style: As with previous years, the file is available for download by non-premium members of sortitoutsi via torrent at the bottom of the above page, as well as through the usual mirror sites. Premium members are naturally able to download the whole file from our servers, but the torrent file is available for all and sundry Contains 165,187 images of staff, officials & players from all around the world. *after the 8.02 update pack has been applied This is a stand-alone pack intended for use with FM16, but it will work with all versions of the game from FM09 onwards. The idea behind this Megapack is that everyone downloads it and it gives us a base to work from. Over time with each update pack, we will replace older/poor-quality images with newer/better ones as well as filling in the blanks along the way. Also available now are default images for those using dark skins. Sortitoutsi link IMPORTANT: THE DARK DEFAULT FACES MUST BE PLACED HERE: My Documents/Sports Interactive/FM16/Skins The cut-out version of the default 'empty' images are available here. We have also produced the Face Icons Megapack, available from the cut-out faces megapack download section. This sister pack displays the tiny preview images you get in the game. We're delighted to unveil the new; Megapack Picture Search Tool HERE Just type in the UID of the image you are after and will bring up the current MP image (along with any previous versions of that player, eg. Cristiano Ronaldo - 735216) A massive thank you to Rob who has spent a lot of time working on this behind the scenes. It is available to all sortitoutsi members, and you will need to be logged in to use this function. How to install update packs Once you have downloaded an update, move the contents (not the folder itself!!!) of the update into you megapack folder (accepting any overwrite messages you get) I can not stress enough - copy the CONTENTS into your base folder - DO NOT PLACE THE UPDATE FOLDER WHOLE INTO YOUR BASE FOLDER! PLEASE READ THE ENCLOSED INSTRUCTIONS FOR FULL DETAILS. Mons
If you're having trouble with finding the download link for the torrent, choose the torrents tab at the bottom of this page. You need to extract the file with winrar or a similar extracting tool. Once you've installed it, double-click on the megapack file. and extract it to a temporary folder for now, for example the Desktop. Due to the huge size, this can take a good while to fully extract so just be patient. Go make a cup of tea/coffee/alternative beverage or watch some TV Then move the faces folder to Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 201x > graphics. This last folder may need to be created. To repeat, this file should go into the DOCUMENTS FM folder structure and not anywhere else. This is what the MP folder should look like: There is one final step before you can see these pics in the game. Load up Football Manager and go to "Preferences" and click on the "Interface" tab. Make sure that you tick the check box in the skin section called "Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences" and un-tick the box saying "Use Caching to Decrease Page Loading Time". Hit Confirm. The preferences should look like in the below screenshot:
