Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have the dreaded Microsoft Visual C++ error on my 10 year Southampton save and it is now unplayable. I have tried many of the solutions suggested on various sites and on here but to no avail.

I did read one post where a guy uploaded his save file you guys at SI fixed it.

Is there any chance you can help me please, I cannot lose this save game!!!

It is for FM12

Runtime errors are usually caused by your computer running out of memory to run the game. This can be caused by loading too many leagues at start up, running too large a database, using a non standard database, or adding extra leagues after starting. You can try deleting leagues, lowering detail levels, remove old scouting reports and news subscriptions and going back to an older save. If you want SI to look at this save after trying the above, you need to open a new thread in the FM 13 Bugs forum with all the details and a dxdiag report. If, however, you have gone over the recommended set up, there is little that can be done
